As the Pastor, Teacher, Overseer and Apostle of Christians Of Faith Teaching Ministries, Apostle Washington is truly honored and duly recognized as a Man of God. He is described by his congregation as "a Man after God's own heart".
Under his leadership, God uses him greatly to raise up the growing ministries within Christians Of Faith Teaching Ministries. "Revelation Preaching" is what flows out of his mouth; to feed the many souls God has placed in this ministry.
Apostle Washington is full of love, wisdom, compassion, and energy; all of which are four key essential ingredients needed to lead a young generation to Christ. When asked- why a teaching ministry, Apostle Washington responds; " God always tells me - to stay humble, stay on your face, stay a servant and teach my word. Don't divide it, don't sugar coat it, don't add to it, and don't take away from it. Give it to them the way I give it to you."
People may come and go in this ministry, but one thing they can always say; and that is that the Word of God is the center. That is why we say that, "This Is The Place Where Everybody Is Somebody And Christ Is All!"
This teaching ministry was designed in a way to ensure that folks can learn the Word of God; learn how to apply it to their lives, and as a result, experience levels of growth and Christian maturity. They are taught to help spread the Glory of God by giving the word out.
Apostle Washington is called to a life of service and ministry through the delivering power of Jesus Christ. He is the Overseer of Christians Of Faith Teaching Ministries in Dumfries, VA. He is the Chairman of C.O.F.T.M.'s Board of Directors and he also spearheads the C.O.F.T.M. Ministers-In-Training Institute. God is also sending Apostle Washington abroad to minister the Gospel to reach many souls.
Apostle Washington partners in ministry with the love of his life, Prophetess, Evangelist, and First Lady, Dr. Lila M. Washington. They have four beautiful children - Christine, Yvette, Myrea and Aaron along with beautiful grandchildren.

Prophetess Washington gave her life to the Lord at the tender age of seventeen under the leadership of Evangelist, Grace L. Page of the youth Action Center For Christ in Washington , D.C. Under the anointed leadership and teachings of Evangelist Page, Prophetess Washington began to be a witness for Christ by going into the prisons, the hospitals, and yes, even on street corners.
In 1988, she and her husband, Dr., Apostle Leroy Vincent Washington, Sr., were first led to begin a work in Alexandria, Virginia; thus begin the birth of a great outreach ministry. She is the Co-Founder, Co-Pastor and Elect-First Lady of Christians Of Faith Teaching Ministries. She is also the Founder and President of Women of Shekinah Glory International, a non-denominational, Christ-centered, Kingdom-focused women's intercessory prayer and inner healing support ministry.
In 1990, under the leadership of Apostle Washington, Prophetess Washington was ordained and called to do the work of an Evangelist and Prophetess. Being faithful to the call in spreading the message of faith, love, hope and joy, Prophetess Washington is a woman whose God-centered message reaches the masses to perpetuate the growth of Christ while inspiring a hunger for the things of God. She has been called to a life of servitude and ministry through the delivering power of Jesus Christ. She is a gifted teacher, preacher, conference speaker and praise and worship leader. She uses her God-given abilities and talents to help motivate, guide, equip and empower individuals. God has used her to minister to people from all walks of life. She has even had the pleasure of sharing in ministry and fellowship with distinguished leaders such as renowned Gospel Artist, Pastor, Shirley Caesar of Mount Calvary Word of Faith in Raleigh, North Carolina.
In 2002, Prophetess Washington received her Doctorate in Theology and Religious Studies from Christians Of Faith Teaching Ministries' Ministers-In-Training Institute, an accredited academic program. When asked about her studies, she replied, "The Bible says that we must study to show ourselves approved; rightly dividing the Word of Truth; becoming workmen that are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is here, at Christians Of Faith Teaching Ministries where I have received anointed revelation teaching under the leading of the Holy Spirit."
Over the past 30 years, Prophetess Washington has lovingly supported her husband in ministry. Her arms are always outstretched to a soul in need. Not only is she an Evangelist, Prophetess, Counselor, Instructor and Minister- she is also a loving Mother, devoted Wife and a wonderful Grandmother. She has travelled from coast-to-coast teaching, ministering, witnessing and mentoring and she is passionate about educating, encouraging and empowering others to be all they can be in Christ. Prophetess Washington has the heart and the Spirit of a true servant leader and her ministry and teachings are invaluable to all who are blessed by her ministry and her presence. To God Be The Glory!
